VRG-8: Vandal-resistant Grille

Cast aluminum grille protects 8" drivers from damage in applications where vandalism and abuse are a concern. Ideal for detention centers, correctional facilities, schools, hospitals, transportation terminals, as well as manufacturing and distribution centers.

A&E SPECIFICATIONS

• The tamper-resistant grille for an 8" speaker shall be Lowell Model VRG-8. It shall be heavy duty cast aluminum with secondary steel barrier perf to protect the driver from damage. The grille shall be 11.44" square with a mounting projection of 0.58". It shall include stainless steel hardware for mounting specified 8" EIA speaker. Each grille shall also have four holes on 9.06" centers for mounting to specified recessed or surface backbox using tamper-resistant white screws provided. Grille shall be finished in white powder epoxy.
